Investing in Yourself Isn’t Selfish.

It’s Necessary

Why This Matters

Too often, men wait until things hit a breaking point—until stress, anger, or disconnection spills over into work, family, or their health. You’ve likely spent years taking care of responsibilities, pushing through hard days, and putting yourself last.

Therapy is different. It’s not an expense—it’s a commitment to finally show up for yourself. Not just for the rough patches, but for the long haul. It’s how you start leading your life, instead of just reacting to it.

Think of therapy like building a foundation. It requires time, energy, and yes—a financial investment. But what you’re really investing in is:

  • Showing up differently for the people you care about

  • Breaking cycles of stress, anger, or disconnection

  • Becoming the kind of man, partner, dad, or leader you choose to be

  • Living with more calm, clarity, and control

When you think about the cost, compare it to the cost of staying stuck: strained relationships, burnout, regret, and years lost to feeling numb or overwhelmed.

Therapy is an investment of time, energy, and money, but more than that, it’s an investment in yourself—your mental clarity, relationships, and overall well-being.

  • My fee is $275 per 50-minute session for individuals.

  • Sessions can be scheduled weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and goals.

If you’re ready to take the next step, schedule a free 15-minute consult to see if we’re a good fit.

Why Private Pay?

More privacy—your records stay between us, without insurance oversight. No diagnosis codes or session notes are shared with third parties, ensuring complete confidentiality in our therapeutic relationship.

Greater flexibility—no restrictions on the number of sessions or type of therapy. We can work together as long as needed without arbitrary session limits, and we can utilize the most effective therapeutic approaches for your situation.

Tailored support—your care is based on what you need, not what an insurance company dictates. We collaborate to create a personalized treatment plan focused solely on your goals and wellbeing, without external requirements influencing our work together.

Consistency of care—avoid disruptions that can occur with insurance changes, authorization delays, or coverage limitations. Our therapeutic relationship remains stable regardless of changes to your insurance status.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement

If you have PPO insurance, your plan may cover a portion of therapy costs. You can check your benefits by asking your provider:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?

  • What percentage is reimbursed per session?

  • Is there a deductible I need to meet first?

If eligible, I can provide a superbill for you to submit directly to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. I work with a limited number of clients to provide focused, high-quality care, which means last-minute cancellations impact availability for others.

  • Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

  • If an unavoidable conflict or emergency arises, we may be able to make other arrangements to avoid the cancellation fee—just reach out as soon as possible.

I take your investment in therapy seriously, and my work goes beyond the time we spend in session. I dedicate time outside of our meetings to continuing education, advanced trainings, gathering resources, and preparing for our work together, so you get the most out of your experience.

Therapy with me is

Conversational & Direct – No vague nodding or endless "How does that make you feel?" loops. Expect real conversations and honest feedback.

Action-Oriented – We don’t just talk about what’s wrong—we work on concrete strategies to help you move forward.

A Space to Be Real – No judgment, no need to filter yourself. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you show up.

Built for Men Like You – Whether you’re a first responder, a new dad, or just a guy trying to navigate life, therapy is tailored to your experiences, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Therapy with me is not

A Passive Venting Session – While I give space for what’s on your mind, therapy isn’t just about talking—it's about making meaningful change.

Forced Vulnerability – You don’t have to spill your deepest emotions right away. We work at your pace, with tools that make sense for you.

A Quick Fix – Real change takes time, effort, and commitment. If you're looking for a one-time solution, therapy might not be the right fit.

A One-Size-Fits-All Approach – I don’t do cookie-cutter therapy. Your challenges, strengths, and goals shape the work we do together.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, healthcare providers must inform individuals not enrolled in a health plan, coverage program, or Federal healthcare program about their right to request a "Good Faith Estimate" of anticipated charges.

You have the right to obtain a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining your expected medical costs. The law requires healthcare providers to provide patients who aren't using insurance with an estimate for medical services and items.

You're entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services or items, including related expenses such as medical tests, medications, equipment, and facility fees.

Your healthcare provider should provide a written Good Faith Estimate at least 1 business day before your scheduled service. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate from your provider or any other provider before scheduling a service or item.

If you receive a bill exceeding your Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute the charges.

Be sure to keep a copy or image of your Good Faith Estimate for your records. For additional information about your Good Faith Estimate rights, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
